Anna DiSanto, PWS

President

The team is led by Anna DiSanto, Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS). With over 10 years of experience, Anna specializes in aquatic resource management and environmental permitting on local, State, and Federal levels.  Anna has been working as an environmental consultant specializing in aquatic resource management since 2012. Before forming Summit Environmental Solutions, Inc., Anna worked for Pioneer Environmental Services, Inc. as a Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS), specializing in wetland delineation and mitigation projects throughout Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and Montana. Anna has conducted numerous NEPA projects, including Environmental Analyses (EAs), Biological Assessments (BAs), and Categorical Exclusions (CatEx), as well as Natural Resource Management Plans and technical reports. Anna holds a double Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Saint Michael’s College in Biology and Environmental Studies and a Master of Natural Resources (MNR) and certificate in GIS from Utah State University. She completed the Collaboration Program in Natural Resources (CPNR) through the University of Wyoming in 2020. Anna's technical experience with natural resources combined with her active role in planning, design, and implementation has provided her with a solid background in project management. Anna has participated in various County stakeholder groups, and volunteers for Teton County Search and Rescue in her free time. 

 

Roy Hugie, PhD.

TECHNICAL Expert and Senior Consultant 

Dr. Hugie retired from President of Pioneer Environmental Services, which was established in 2000 and joined Summit Environmental Solutions as a senior consultant. Dr. Hugie provides technical expertise from over 40 years of experience in natural resource management, wildlife biology, and NEPA processes. Dr. Hugie’s background in wildlife/habitat research and management, wetland permitting, agency liaison, public involvement, environmental compliance/inspection, State/County/Municipal Environmental analyses and compliance, environmental instruction regarding the NEPA process, and development of new technologies and applications, adds a wealth of knowledge and experience to Summit’s core staff. Dr. Hugie was responsible for most of the environmental permitting processes for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Silver Star Communications, and Silver Star Telephone since 1996 in Teton County as well as statewide; and has served as a consultant/advisor to numerous organizations, firms, and individuals. 

 

Jenny Meissner

General Manager

Jenny is the newest addition to the Summit Environmental Solutions team! Her background in utility-based project management led her to collaborate with Summit on a large project together, and the rest is history! Jenny has a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina. Her love of the environment and outdoors along with a never-ending quest for learning, ease of communication, and “managing the chaos” makes her a great asset to this rock-star team. If she isn’t working, you will find her spending time with her husband and two sons, farming, fly fishing, or rafting!
